Esmeralda Mena, MBA is a purpose-led healthcare executive whose work is deeply rooted in service, faith, and a calling to make a meaningful difference in the world. Born in an internment camp in Communist Albania, Esmeralda’s early life was shaped by her family’s fearless fight for freedom and truth. Their legacy of leadership instilled in her the values that continue to guide her today: courage, integrity, and vision.
She earned her Bachelor’s in Biology from Rutgers University and later excelled in the Medical Assistant & Medical Billing program at Ace Institute of Technology in NYC. While serving as the Practice Manager at Hudson Pro Orthopaedics, she chose to deepen her expertise in the healthcare sector by pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Healthcare Administration at Saint Peter’s University—an experience that further sharpened her strategic and operational acumen.
Over the past 15+ years, Esmeralda has held strategic leadership roles at Premier Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine and Kayal Orthopaedic Center, where she led revenue cycle management, business development, and organizational expansion. Today, as Chief Strategy Officer at HudsonPro Health, she designs patient-centered systems that heal, rebuild, and recover—combining operational rigor with deep compassion.
Esmeralda brings a unique blend of clinical insight, strategic planning, and cultural empathy to everything she builds. Her leadership elevates care, unifies teams, and drives lasting impact. Fluent in Albanian, English, Italian, and conversational Spanish, she believes in the power of communication, connection, and collaboration.
Outside of work, Esmeralda enjoys sports—whether swimming, dancing, working out, or playing soccer and ping pong. She finds peace and strength in scripture and continually fuels her growth through business literature and lifelong learning. Above all, she is devoted to her family, who remain her source of inspiration and grounding. Esmeralda views every professional challenge as an opportunity to serve others and fulfill her higher purpose.
